Founded in 2018, Bryan May Architecture + Interiors focuses on creating engaging, enjoyable, and memorable experiences through a collaborative design process. We now have an international presence with studios in Aspen, Colorado and Sydney, Australia.

Bryan May Architecture + Interiors (BMAI) was established in Colorado in 2018. We have served an international client base in fields of architecture, interior design, planning, and landscape design. BMAI is a boutique design firm with the energy and passion to create projects that will have a lasting impact on our communities.

We seek to redefine the design experience and have earned a reputation for our fluid, creative problem-solving abilities, efficient workflow, and positivity. We listen, we collaborate, we approach opportunities with optimism, and we act with integrity. BMAI approaches each project with a sense of humility, and we look forward to all we will learn from the entire team.

With a diverse project portfolio including commercial, corporate, hospitality, industrial, and custom residential, we are uniquely positioned to bring unique ideas and solutions to any project. BMAI’s design philosophy is built upon a foundation of collaboration and coordination; architecture, landscape, planning, interior design, urban design, engineering, and local context are equally vital and interdependent. Our team approaches each project with a focus on understanding its regional and environmental impacts as well as its social, personal, economic, and cultural goals. We achieve these standards by actively listening to each client’s design goals, connecting with stakeholders throughout the project, performing extensive historical and community research, applying new technological and scientific solutions, and testing creative materials and applications. As a result, we create legacy buildings that respond to both culture and place.

We are passionate about design and look forward to sharing our excitement with you! BMAI creates more than just architecture. We shape our built environment as much as it shapes us. Our primary goal is to cultivate a process that reinforces lasting, meaningful relationships and always seeks a win-win solution, so everyone leaves the table with a positive feeling of accomplishment and, quite simply, the satisfaction of a job well done.

Tarryn Link

Inspired by travel, the outdoor environment, and how design impacts human interaction, Tarryn leads our interior design team. She has over a decade of experience in a diverse range of architecture and interior design projects including national and international government projects. More recently, she has specialized in ground-breaking commercial office interiors for various high-profile clients including the likes of Uber, Pinterest, Cisco, Colony Capital, Softbank, and others.

Paul Stanley, AIA
Project Architect

Paul is a Project Architect with Bryan May Architecture + Interiors. He grew up in sunny St.Petersburg, Florida and completed his Bachelor’s of Design with a focus in Architectural Studies and Masters of Architecture at the University of Florida. In school, he benefited from a holistic approach to the design process and strong modernist design legacy.

His professional experience includes a variety of residential, mixed-use, educational and municipal projects. His day-to-day responsibilities include construction document coordination, production, and project management. His passion for Architecture stems from a desire to unite the analytical and intuitive forces of design. At each scale during the life of a project, he strives to integrate the client’s spatial goals with a more ineffable vision of happiness and beauty.

Paul is delighted to trade the beach for the mountains and enjoys cooking, hiking, skiing and the fine arts. Growing up, he and his parents were ignorant of the “other” Paul “Starchild” Stanley of KISS. He now finds it only appropriate to join forces with a fellow Rockstar extraordinaire, Bryan May.

Maslin Mellick, LEED Green AP
Architectural Designer

Prior to joining Bryan May Architecture, Maslin worked for Rowland + Broughton, where she was an integral part of several commercial and residential projects from conception to completion. Previously she worked in Boston at Zero Energy Design where she gained experience in passive house design strategies for custom residential homes. Her passion for architecture started when she attended the undergraduate program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Architecture + Design with minors in Building Construction Technology and Art History. Her passion continued to grow as she studied architecture in Copenhagen, and volunteered as an engineer in Haiti, helping to holistically develop communities. When Maslin realized her passion resided in sustainable design, she obtained a LEED Green Associate certification from USGBC. Maslin brings her passion for sustainability and responsible design to all aspects of the practice.

As a steward to any community she joins, Maslin volunteers both locally and internationally. The urge to explore and educate herself on communities around the world has inspired her to travel, and to Aspen where she can live sustainably while enjoying the outdoors.
